PROPHETIC UNCTION

PROPHETIC INTERCESSION, PREACHING, TEACHING, & COUNSELING [The Unction of the Spirit of the Lord]
But you have an unction [The Greek word "Chrisma," an urgent, or an anointing] from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1 John 2:20
There is a two-fold look at the work of the Holy Spirit given below...
[1] The anointing is present in the life of the believer which speaks of our being sanctified, consecrated, and separated for a holy use. 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 2:20. All believers are anointed because of the anointed one.
[2] The anointing also is defined as the inner workings of the Holy Spirit, even as he enables us to function in his gifts, and to flow in his operation. All believers do not flow in the same level of anointing for ministry. Benny Hinn functions in a different anointing for deliverance and divine healing than many local area elders. Bishop Earl Paulk is anointed to teach the message of the kingdom in a bold and new living way. Each of these men is pioneering important developments and progressions of the kingdom, and many more are emerging in these streams. Many today can preach it, but few have the heart of a father to impart God’s
richer and deeper depths and dimension of the Spirit.
The anointing abides…
But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. 1 John 2:27
The context of 1 John 2:18-29 speaks of the anointing of the Holy Spirit as opposed to the spirit or mentality of Antichrist. Antichrist is against, instead of, and guise as Christ. It is a false anointing that is spoken of in verse 19 of 1st John 2. This antichrist is not supported of here as some political leader in the Middle East, nor is it regarded here as some endtime mastermind from Syria or Europe. The Spirit or mentality of antichrist is first and foremost mentioned in John’s epistles as they, not HE. If you look around in some of today’s assemblies you will find civil war and doctrinal battles over the meaning of the term anointed. You’ve got the Fundamentalists who ascribe tongues, divine utterance, and the gifts of the Spirit to the works of the devil, and recognize the prophetic and other such expressions of grace as aberrant theology, satanic in origin. And, you’ve got those in the church that deny the power of Christ and ascribe such as doctrines of devils. All of this is the Spirit {mind} of Antichrist {Substitute}

So, we see here that there is a true anointing of the Spirit, and a false one. There is Christ, and Antichrist. There is the Spirit of Truth, and the Spirit of Error. And, according to verse 19 of 1 John 2, there are those of the company of God's true body of believers, and those who have withdrew from such company. 1 Corinthians 11:19; 2 Cor. 11:13-15; Romans 8:9; 2 Peter chapter 2
Again, the true anointing of the Holy Spirit distinguishes us from the rest of the world. It would be most helpful to read all three of John's epistles, as they were particularly written to warn and guard the church against Gnostic reasoning.

Prophetic Intercession:
First of all, we are coining this phrase here in the prophetic school. And this is not to suggest that those who intercede are all to become prophets. No! But there is a dimension of intercessory prayer that intermingles and overlaps with the prophetic realm. There is a dimension of grace whereas the song of the Lord intermingles with solid preaching and teaching, and where rhema revelation quickens you beyond normal counsel and deliberation.
Prophetic Intercession is the mind, will, and counsel of the Lord that reveals his plans and purpose through prayer in the Spirit. It is the burden of the Lord that you are quickened to. It is praying the will and mind of God. It is having his heartbeat. It is giving yourself to God for others and for the nations. Again, this is not to suggest that you will become a prophet when interceding. But with the
stirring of the Spirit, the rhema of the Lord, the divine quickening of the Lord, the Holy Spirit takes your intercession to a whole new level of grace than just having a simple burden or concern to pray. It is more than a natural observation to pray about a thing, but the very mind of the Lord himself. True, this can be experienced in the life of many intercessors, many of which flow in a prophetic grace to speak the oracles of God.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings, which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. Rom. 8:26-27
The prophetic realm is that which speaks forth the mind, and counsel of God. It is the declaration of that which cannot be known by natural means. Therefore, when you connect the prophetic with intercession, you take intercession a notch or so upward. Intercession in Romans 8:26 is "huperentunchano," a verb defined as "to intercede on behalf of another." Also, to make a petition. In verse 27, it is "entunchano" meaning "to fall in with, meet with in order to converse, then, to make intercession." You are praying the voice, mind, and will of God on earth.

Prophetic Intercession may also be known when God is giving you an inner witness to pray. Here, a word of knowledge or a word of wisdom may be present. Spiritual gifts and spiritual manifestations are in operation to discern and to detect things when needed. Your intercession becomes prophetic in scope and character as what you are praying in the Spirit carries the same or similar substance and tenor as one who would prophesy what thus says the Lord.
We are all born to intercede, and that intercession is not an office but is a body ministry in the global interactive kingdom community or church. Prophetic people are to understand the times and pray the will and mind of God in heaven to be done in earth. Prophetic people are to be in tune to the eternal purposes of God, and to become sensitive to the voice of the Lord and his operations.
Below are some points to consider about intercession...
Whenever God wanted to do something tremendous in the earth, intercession preceded.
Whenever you give yourself to God, your vision of his purpose will expand…
Yielding to God on a regular basis will increase sensitivity of the Spirit…
True intercession is always motivated by love, the motive of the kingdom...
It is the burden of the Lord: his concern is your concern: his heart is your heart...
You are standing in agreement with God: you become a co-labour of the Spirit...
Your life is characterized by selfless and undying love: a life of intercession…
Intercessors will stand as watchmen upon the wall, watching and praying...
Although intercessors are bold in the Spirit, they are meek, broken, and humble...Their lives are clothed in humility…
Intercessors value the importance of discretion, even when the Spirit reveals things to them...
Intercessors are not mouthy, full of gossip, backbite, slander, and accusation of others...
Intercessors will discover both the lamb and the lion in them; first building on the lamb – character of God…
Intercessors are also mediators, they stand between heaven and earth…
Intercessors will travail and give birth to what God is saying and doing...

Prophetic Preaching and Teaching...
Again, another coined phrase, which is not to suggest that all that preach or teach under a prophetic anointing are to be classified as prophet.
Prophetic preaching & teaching is a stream of prophetic grace whereas the Spirit may quicken one at times to speak as an oracle of God, the utterance of things not ordinarily received from the exhausting of the human mind and intellect.
If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God...1 Peter 4:11
Like intercessory prayer with a twist of the prophetic dimension, prophetic preaching and teaching enables you to readily get the mind of the Spirit in proclaiming or explaining the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It may be the simple rhema word, your spirit quickened to certain scripture passages, revelation knowledge, or a direct word from the Lord to give to the people. The only thing is, this realm is not necessarily characterized by "Thus saith the Lord!" it may have the inspiration of prophecy, but may not always display the full use of the gift of prophecy.
With prophetic preaching and teaching, you may not always access your planned notes. You may not always read them word for word. In fact, you may get an entirely different message from the Lord altogether. For the prophetic dimension to preach and to teach cuts through the chase, getting it from the Lord and administering his presence to his people. The Spirit of the Lord may even enhance and enlarge your understanding of your prepared notes. Therefore, be
encouraged to get the mind of the Lord when you preach and teach. And with that, you may even sense the giftings of the Spirit for a specific purpose and use.
The prophetic dimension will grace you at times to flow in spontaneity, not human-bound rigid order. For divine order is not merely church structure, but what God is doing in the Spirit also. Yes, divine or spiritual order may be for the speaker to shut down for now his ability to reason things out with God, and to flow in the utterance of the Spirit. Sometimes, a preacher or teacher of the gospel may be unaware of the process of speaking forth the divine oracles of God, or simply unaware that this potential lies resident in the Holy Ghost. And yes, some men and women of God were deeply surprised by the potential of the Spirit within them. But beloved, it does not have to be a surprise anymore. For prophetic preaching is linked with the presence of the Lord and his spiritual gifts. Yes, it may begin by you uttering precious realities of the Spirit, but remember this, the gifts of the Spirit are another way of saying that one desires to fully preach Christ, which Paul confirms in Romans 15:19

Prophetic Counseling

And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after hearing of his ears: Isaiah 11:2-3
God's counsel involves a word of wisdom, a word of knowledge, and understanding. It also involves the discerning of spirits {1 Corinthians 12:7-11} In this principle lies the making or building of God's house. Proverbs 9:1; 24:2-3
His counsel is advice, planning, deliberation, and purpose. His counsel has stood the test of time and is as gold tried in the fire. His counsel is steadfast and sure. It is the same, yesterday, today, and forever! Isaiah 46:11
As with the other areas of prophetic development, prophetic counsel too, is the quickening of the Spirit, which reveals the mind of God concerning a thing. In any ordinary discourse or through some normal deliberation process, one may spend hours trying to find out what a matter is, but not with prophetic counsel. Like the other coined phrases mentioned earlier, prophetic counsel gets the mind of God on the scene without all of the systematic approaches to solving life's problems. In the prophetic dimension of counsel, the revelation gifts are present. These gifts include the word of wisdom and the word of knowledge. These, along with the discerning of spirits, are characterized by knowing in the Spirit, whereas faith, healing, and the working of miracles are recognized as doing in the Spirit, and the gift of tongues, interpretation, and prophecy as saying in the Spirit.
According to Proverbs 15:22, without counsel, purposes are frustrated or
violated, but in the multitude of counselors they are established. In chapter 11:14, there is safety in counsel. Therefore, Spirit led counsel is when you move from dialog to trialog. This ranges from a two party conversation to a three party conversation. Meaning, with you, the counseled, and the Holy Spirit.
Have the mind of the Lord in prayer for others, as it becomes rather frustrating to rush in to pray for others out of haste. For suppose someone asked you to pray with them for a mate, or sought counsel from you for a companion. Will you quickly pray for them as if the red light is about to turn green? And what if you agreed with the counseled about this mate they have in mind? Well, you could be praying witchcraft prayers, not even realizing that the person whom you are praying for is desiring to marry someone whom is now married themselves. This is why we need the Spirit of the Lord in our counseling process. Without the quickening nature of the Spirit, we can ramble on for hours getting nowhere!

A look at the Anointing and the Presence of the Lord

Without a doubt, the anointing is a measure of the divine presence of the Lord. Many want to sense or become enabled by an anointing.
In truth before there was record of the anointing, there was the presence and glory of the Holy God. The anointing in essence is a measure of HIS presence, and Adam, the Patriarchs, and others walked in the glory and presence of God not being deemed as having a special anointing. In one sense, having the anointing for a thing is temporal, as the glory of His presence far surpasses just being or having to be anointed for a special calling or service.
When the anointing has served its intended purpose, the Spirit of the Living God continues to manifest throughout the earth to do according to his pleasure. When man in his frailty have come to his wits end, like the beginning of Genesis 1:2, the Spirit of God moves upon the face of the waters in the midst of a formless and void earth.
God’s will and authority is his presence. Spiritual authority is his presence. In some cases, people try to flow out of an anointing when they themselves do not respect God’s set and appointed authority in rightful matters. You don’t claim an anointing when you have a rebellious nature to spiritual leadership. You don’t profess how anointed you are when you can’t receive simple instructions. For the anointing is in the instructions. Some things will greatly enhance in your life when you are properly aligned to God’s order for spiritual authority and fatherhood in your life. Don’t bring me your gifting when you refuse to receive correction when needed. Don’t bring me your anointing for healing the sick when you are not willing to submit to proper spiritual authority. And don’t get up in the corporate anointing and try to steal the show so to speak when you have not learned how to be seasoned under God’s spiritual order for your life. For divine order equals divine presence. Some things in terms of the anointing will only come when you
are walking in divine order with God’s set man and woman in the ministry.
The anointing of the Spirit can be increased or decreased in our lives through a number of factors, but the reality of the matter is that this divine influence or presence comes from God. The anointing is the presence of the Spirit that consecrates us, and sets us apart for himself. The anointing of the Holy Spirit is also God's divine enabling, and glorifies the Christ [Anointed One], never the person whom operates through the anointing. In today’s church, we tend to magnify men with great anointing. True, the anointing reveals the holiness of the Holy Spirit, and the sovereignty of the Lord to use whom he chooses. The anointing is not merely for us but to minister unto the Lord by ministering one to another. Let us never lose sight of the Lord's graciousness to empower those whom he will for his intended purpose and glory.

In the Old Testament, there are a number of uses for the anointing as holy oil. There are references of the anointing in conjunction with one being consecrated for service, especially kings and priests. And there are scriptural passages of the Lord acknowledging his servants as "his anointed." All in all, the anointing is something that acknowledges our being set apart for the Lord himself. Even the very sacraments and furniture of Moses' tabernacle were anointed or consecrated for service. And, people where not only anointed for service, but for death and burial as well. Take note of a few references below…
And shall anoint them, and consecrate them, and sanctify them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office...Exodus 28:41
The Lord sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel...1 Samuel 15:1
And the Lord said, Arise, anoint him, for this is he...[David] 1 Samuel 16:12
Surely the Lord's anointed is before him...1 Samuel 16:6
Therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows...Psalms 45:7
Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God...
2 Corinthians 1:21
And the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing...Isaiah 10:27...
The Quickening Spirit of the Lord
The quickening nature of the Lord is re – enkindle and makes alive. It carries in it the nature to give & to reproduce life. This life is confirmed in Acts 17:28 as we find ourselves living, moving, & having our being in him. This quickening nature is the life that is more than meat in Matthew 6:25. It comes in part to make alive something that was once dead. Thank God for the quickening. {I smile after recognizing the phrase “the quickening” on a once popular TV show}
Isaiah 11:3 speaks of the seven-fold work of the Holy Spirit upon the "Branch Man Christ Jesus, and the corporate Christ (the church) or many member son. Here, he (or we) are made to understand things by the quickening Spirit. And in 1 Corinthians 15:45, Christ, the last Adam, is made a quickening Spirit.
Quicken me according to your word. Psalms 119:154
Quicken me, O Lord, according unto your word. Psalms 119:107

Definitions to consider...
Zao, is a Greek word, which mean, "to live." Scriptures would include Hebrews 4:12 and implies "being made alive."
In Psalms 119:25, 37, 40, 88, 107, 149, 154, 156, 159, the word quicken is defined as "to live, to revive, give or promise life, recover, repair, restore, save, be whole, etc."
In Romans 8:11, to quicken is to "vitalize, make or give life."
Psalms 119 verse 50 and 93: Both contain the same Hebrew word above in the reference verses of Psalms 119. Here, the word of the Lord has quickened us.
Other scriptures for quickened in the NT are 1 Corinthians 15:36; Ephesians 2:1, 5; Colossians 2:13 [to reanimate conjointly, quicken together], and 1 Peter 3:18
John 5:21...the Father quickeneth whom he will: John 6:63...the Spirit quickeneth: Romans 4:17...he quickeneth the dead and call things into existence: 1 Timothy 6:13 further adds that God quickeneth all things. And let's not forget 1 Corinthians 15:45, Christ the last Adam, the quickening Spirit!
Closing thoughts on the inward LIFE
The inward life is the hidden life of the inner man, life from the inside out…
Who hath put wisdom in the inward parts? Job 38:36
Behold, thou desire truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. Psalms 51:6
The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Proverbs 20:27
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. Psalms 18:28
I will put my law in their inward parts... Jeremiah 31:33
This inward life is where the “Naba and Nabiy” {prophet and prophesying} is flowing
from within. It is the commanding of the blessing of the Lord for that which is resident to come forth to bless others in the prophetic dimension. Many desire a personal breakthrough and have not released the rivers of living water to bless others. If you really want a personal breakthrough then begin to open yourselves to the prophetic rivers of the Spirit to prophesy as the Spirit of the Lord gives utterance. Reiterating what Moses once said in Numbers 11:29, “Would that all of God’s people were prophets or inspired in divine utterances.

INTO THE HOLY OF THE HOLIES BY PASTOR BENNY HINN

Heb. 4:16-Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. Go with me to a place where few enter, where you are saturated with the presence of God, where the glory is, where you are literally baptized in His awesome power. As long as you are in this place, you no longer feel guilty or sinful. That was taken care of in the Outer Court. You pass through the Holy Place, where your soul begins to surrender to the will of the Father. Then, something miraculous happens. You go beyond the veil, deeper with the Father than ever before. The flesh cannot enter. The soul can no longer talk or participate. Communion begins within your spirit. God speaks to you, deep inside. His presence is so abundant that you can only listen. You no longer talk. You must be quiet. In the presence of God, words are inadequate. You have entered into a higher revelation. Quietness is all around you, but not as a sign of lack. It is

The Joseph Anointing

THE JOSEPH ANOINTING And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, see thou do it not; I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus, "worship God,"... for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy. Revelation 19:10 "He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant. Whose feet they hurt with fetters, he was laid in iron. Until the time that his "word' came. The "word" of the Lord tried him." Psalm 105:17-19 John in Revelation 19:10 was one, Joseph was one, also Mary the sister of Martha and Lazarus. It is said of Mary in John 12:3, “Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped His feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.”   The house was filled with her worship, a life poured out unto Him. As we study the life of Joseph we will see the process that the Spirit
