First, understand that your heavenly father loves you. When sickness attacks there are some things you need to know. Let's take a look. Christ gave his disciples a mandate to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick (Luke 9:2). That assignment has not changed. Scripture declares, “By His stripes you were healed” (1 Peter 2:24). And there is no doubt that thousands of people are healed by the power of God every year. I have seen many healed by the power of prayer and the Holy Spirit. You probably have too.
